2-Day Lake Eyre, Channel Country & Wilpena Pound by Air from Brisbane with Graham!   New Departure - 25 JULY 2026

Lake Eyre-Kati Thanda usually appears as a very vast, salt-encrusted basin however with the predicted heavy rainfalls expected during the wet season in northern Australia, we may once again be lucky enough to see plenty of water in the western river systems that flow into Lake Eyre.

Graham will be on board all our Lake Eyre flights providing clear and interesting commentary. Graham’s knowledge and practical experiences are the ‘point of difference’ when you see Lake Eyre with Travel West.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for taking me and Dad on such a wonderful and memorable trip. It truly was one for the books.

Dad hasn’t stopped talking about the amazing people we met on board – he loved how friendly and welcoming everyone was. The scenery absolutely blew us away, and Graham’s knowledge and commentary kept us both completely enthralled the whole way through. Every piece of information and story added so much depth to the experience.

The hospitality was another highlight – something Dad keeps bringing up! And of course, he’s still raving about the cold beer at the Birdsville Hotel, seeing Lake Eyre with water in it, and the incredible colours of the Channel Country. He has ticked several things off his bucket list, which means more to both of us than I can put into words.
