Every July, Birdsville’s iconic Big Red Bash kicks off under the open skies of Australia’s Simpson Desert. Thousands of people from around Australia, and the world, head into the desert for the most remote concert on the planet!

On Monday 6 July we continue to travel west through to Birdsville via Betoota. Enjoy a beer in the iconic Birdsville Hotel before heading out to “Bashville” where your tent will already be erected with a stretcher & bedding provided.

Enjoy 3 nights in this unique location at the base of Big Red Sandhill and listen to Paul Kelly who will be joined by a festival-record 19 Australian music greats, including Ian Moss, Tim Finn, John Williamson, Kate Ceberano, Shannon Noll, Dragon, The Radiators, Mi Sex, Wendy Matthews, Thirsty Merc, Marc Gable, Dragon, Glenn Shorrock, Caitlin Shadbolt and more.

Collectively, the bumper artist line up has won more than 25 ARIA awards and 27 CMAA awards, as well as releasing over 100 albums and countless hit singles.

Crowd favourites Bjorn Again, who took to the stage on camel-back in 2019, will also return by popular demand for the eighth time along with Steve Balbi, Chocolate Starfish, Ross Wilson and Vika & Linda Bull.

Friday 10 July we’ll leave our tents and head to town for a day & night in Birdsville, including motel accommodation & an evening meal at the Pub!
