The Outback Way Pilbara & Kimberley

On this 30-day 4WD Tag Along Tour you will travel The Outback Way from Winton via Alice Springs, Ayers Rock and over to WA where it finishes in Laverton. From there you'll continue on through the mineral rich regions of the Pilbara including a visit to Port Hedland - Port Hedland is the second largest town in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, with an urban population of almost 14,000 as at the 2016 Census including the satellite town of South Hedland, 18 km away. It is also the site of the highest tonnage port in Australia. Port Hedland has a natural deep anchorage harbour which, as well as being the main fuel and container receival point for the region, was seen as perfect for shipment of the iron ore being mined in the ranges located inland.  Following the Great Northern Highway we will travel via Eighty Mile Beach to Broome, where we begin our look around the beautiful Kimberley region including Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, Derby, Fitzroy Crossing, Geikie Gorge, the Bungle Bungles, Home Valley Station, Kununurra and Lake Argyle.  This truly is a great way to see a lot of Australia and experience so much diversity. Put this on your 'Bucket List' or Book Now - tour commences in Winton QLD on 19 July 2020.
