Travel West Air Safari to Central Australia & the Kimberley
Professionally guided by Graham & Deb from Travel West, this 9 day-8 night journey from Brisbane will visit Longreach, Birdsville, over Lake Eyre to Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock, Kununurra, Broome & Alice Springs. Graham will provide commentary & entertain you all the way with history, geography and stories about driving road trains & carting cattle in the Kimberley and the Territory.
We fly out of Brisbane in a SAAB 340 and fly low over Carnarvon Gorge enroute to Longreach. Our visit to Longreach includes a visit to the QANTAS Founders Museum, Stockman's Hall of Fame and Sunset Cruise on the Thomson River.

Departing this morning we'll fly over Big Red, the tallest of the sand dunes in the Simpson Desert, before following the Diamantina River to Goyder Lagoon and over amazing Lake Eyre. Graham will point out the Birdsville Track and Oodnadatta Track today. Our destination is Coober Pedy where you will have the opportunity to see an underground mine and displays of precious opals.
COOBER PEDY » AYERS ROCK

After a final breath-taking look at Ayers Rock, we're off to The Kimberley. Enroute to Kununurra we'll do some scenic flying over the distinctive beehive formation of the Bungles Bungles, see the Argyle Diamond Mine & Lake Argyle before we land at Kununurra, the key service town for the Ord River Irrigation Scheme and the Argyle Diamond Mine. Here will we spend 3 nights at the Kununurra Country Club Resort.
Today will be a highlight as we head to Broome via the Horizontal Falls, Buccaneer Archipelago and then follow the stunning coastline down to Broome, often referred to as the Southern Gateway to the Kimberley.
